Kacy;

Technically, it's a dog but there has to some fundamental reality here at some point. In 1998 ATI became the World's #1 vendor of PC graphics chips and accellerator add-in boards... therefore it's stock should plummet. Makes sense.

ultimately expecting a measuring move down to around $8.
If it hits $8 I will never care about fundamentals again. I won't even need to know the names of the companies I'm trading.

Today's ending action was probably short-covering.
Good point. Not sure what the short-interest numbers are on ATI?

then the shorters will move in for another raid.
Why would someone short a company like ATI over the many truly overvalued, mismanaged, etc companies out there. ATI's increased earnings every quarter since God knows how long and the fundamentals, although I won't go into detail, look incredibly bright. I know there are always shorts in almost every stock but a concerted short attack on ATI just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyways, you trade well too.
