Teligent begins carrying first commercial traffic over point-to-multipoint network in Los Angeles VIENNA, VA., September 28, 1998 – Teligent, an integrated communications company, today began carrying traffic for its first commercial customers over Teligent's "point-to-multipoint" communications network in Los Angeles.
