I am becoming skeptical of underwriters that plug Ligand. It obvious that Lehman and others derive significant fees from LGND SRGN and I assume Elan. What conflicts does Bear Stearns have in their disclosures?

Henry, see no hint of a buyout. What specifically do you see that supports that post?

DISREGARD ABOVE!

O.K. see what you based it on. Yes it is a hint of something that might be of interest in the more distant future. If anything the deal also provides some immediate protection against other potential acquirers. This can be considered good or bad depending on ones point of view.
