This week, I've heard that Q3 will be ok, but not a blow-out. Year-end numbers appear to be very strong.

Does anyone have thoughts on today's rise? Lots of volume... something's up.

Michelle - I have been wondering the same thing. I haven't heard anything about the CIS business.

I'm very concerned about the impact of Y2K on the CIS market because many companies already have an ad-hoc in-house CIS system. And since companies are now fixing rather than replacing their internal systems, I think CIS will necessarily be soft.

Congrats on your SAP short - may have farther to go IMO.

p.s. MANU trading at close to 1x sales - doesn't speak well for what could happen to the valuations of a lot of ERP companies if the Y2K stuff turns out to be for real.
