Yes; 300mm will not add all that much on the short term. But if you're a very small company like Mattson, placements of 300mm tools in pilot lines, esp. CVD where they have almost no biz, can mean significant growth a few years down the road. How many companies out there claim to be in the CVD biz? How many of those will place a unit in any given 300mm pilot fab? Maybe 3? Those who win out can expect significant rev's whenever 300mm goes online.

...I cannot speak for the 300mm CVD placement, but in the 1Q cc clearly noted that the first placement of a 300mm strip in the first 300mm pilot line was a "paid for" unit.
