Re: "Yousef, you seem to want to ignore reality....Do you think that INTC will offer to replace all the PII that were shipped initially with the bug? Also do you think that INTC will offer to replace all the Xeon that are currently shipped with the bug in it?"

Do you think AMD will offer to replace every K6x ever shipped because ALL are defective K6-400mhzs?

Maxwell,

Re: "Yousef, you seem to want to ignore reality..."

The reality, Maxwell is ... AMD knew about this "bug" and shipped the
350mhz K6-2 to customers anyway -->

"AMD has known about the flaw since the release
of the 350-MHz K6-2, and has been working on a
patch since then. Typically, AMD does not post
information on processor flaws until a fix is found,
said sources."

So tell me Maxwell, will this delay the introduction of the 380mhz and
400mhz K6-2's ... It might be a good idea if AMD tested AND reported
the results of these tests, so consumers don't have to worry about
compatability problems.

Make It So,
