Is that all it costs now to join SI? I thought it was over $200. That is usually a barrier to entry for those looking to double post and have good cop/bad cop conversations with themselves or those who feel the need to voice their worthless and ignorant positions. Too bad. Guess this joker lost a few bucks buying at $4. I guess he is dumb enough to think that this board makes a difference to the stock price. The only people who this board means something too are the people who read it. I have given much "correct and factual information" to those "investors" who believe in the digital roll-out, the success of VOD and Concurrents position in that market. Since I first posted here the stock moved higher on heavy volume due to two large investors building positions, SFA deal and the continuing improvement in CCUR's balance sheet. The lucrative opportunities that exist in digital cable have been confirmed by Gates, Paul Allen and AT&T. Cable stocks have held up better than any other sector during this sell off. When this investor community starts to focus on the fact that the tremendous revenue and market share gains they are expecting and paying for in the price per sub that is embedded into their purchase price, they will realize that it can't and won't materialize without the help of SFA, GIC and others. We saw that focus happen for a month after the AT&T deal. The IVOD roll out has started and will ramp up throughout this year into next. The high profile of these roll outs will raise investor awareness of the equipment companies that make it possible and that will profit from it. My mistake was believing that the cable companies were ready to deploy this summer and that the SFA/CCUR deal following Cable 98 was the trigger event. Instead, the roll out has been pushed to the fall and new large investors have not discovered CCUR. In fact, not many large investors can buy CCUR based on market cap and price. That almost changed back 3 months or so ago. I have taken articles that have details important to the digital cable arena and commented on them if applicable. I have also taken news or press releases and given my opinion on the technology or competition factor. I do not believe that much if any of that analysis was wrong based on the easily accessible facts about their technology and business plans. [People will talk to you if they believe you won't blab or post every comment they make on the internet, thus I do hold back on some things]. I am bullish on CCUR and I know that I will see the stock break the very crucial $5 mark where I can point it out to those SFA, GIC and Antec investors as a way to play the digital roll out. I hope my long winded post has bugged you know who. I am not an investment advisor for the thread. I post facts together with my opinions. If anyone were to believe I am wrong or posting bad facts, then skip my posts. I feel there are many who have learned more about CCUR and this industry from the quality posts from a handful of people on this thread, then there are disgruntled CCUR "I lost money because Goodboy ended his posts with "buckle up". I will now end my posts with "grow up" and "learn how to invest on your own". Maybe I will spend $60 clams and start to write incoherent babble like a former poster here. I am sure the thread would love it.
