Following events could dictate stock price in the short run. October 1st week: Outcome of SUN trial Octtber 12th: Windows CE - Jupiter announcement October 10th?: MSN portal announcement October 15th: DOJ trial starts October 20th?: 1Q EPS report. [I expect MSFT to report 4+ Billion in revenues and 52c in EPS before one time gain. that would be a whopping 50% earnings growth] The above are factors specific to MSFT> The other factors are overall market sentiments. Like today. We have a down DJIA, which is down 2%. MSFT is holding pretty well I think it is down 1% or so. There is a fair probability of getting back to 66PE of expected trailing EPS of 1.95 or 129 in the next 20 days. But no one can tell for sure.
