a lot of investors will not settle for the return of so called defensive stocks, unless you mean Drugs. I don't think they are as defensive as most like to believe.

Hi! I finally sold all my losing stocks today and purchased more Dell with it. If I hadn't owned Dell in the past year and a half I would be sitting on at least 50% loss instead of 400% gain. Dell has never let me down everytime I bought it. In fact I have sold some Dell in the past to hang on to my losers. From now on I'll just buy Dell and sell everything else rather than sitting on losses and wasting my capital. Dell's fundamentals are still great.

When the going gets tough, people like to hide in defensive stocks, not high risk / high growth stocks.
