I don't like to scalp.. I'd like to hold a stock or option for at least 1/2 hour to 2 or 3 hours. These last two days when I bought the puts, I did not think I would have to sell within the hour or all of 15 minutes I had them today. But you have to go with the flow. I bet whoever had puts and did not sell would still be good tomorrow since the internets could continue to tank.

I also don't like getting out of promising trades because of an abrupt change in sentiment, identification with a story stock etc. I barely was in TLAB and RXSD when the prices started moving south and I had no alternative but to pull the trigger. How badly do you think those sedate and conservative people holding NICEY, ESCMF, WAC, WND, feel when their stock is halved? I had both NICEY and ESCMF last April 1997..I also had MRVC then and ORBKF.. Now I don't have any of them. I would have liked GILTF but I missed that one completely I'm getting used to this kind of trading.... It's likely to with us for quite a while.
