Gee Bob, that is quite a rumor. Who's rumor is this? Is this Bob Golfer's rumor. You need a little more than one post and some manufactured rumor to get any sort of credibility. Let's start with,, where did you hear this?

How could IBM cancel the (potential)NSM deal?
IBM doesnt own NSM, so even if IBM is out(I dont believe it)
how do they control Wave's dealings w/ NSM?
