All of what you said sounds about right to me. Interestingly, I used a scan to create a Virtual list called "common.lst". I run my scans against this for reasons that were discussed here a couple months ago. That Virt list always updates each night. I run scans on it each night and the results are always current.

The problem is probably what Gary alluded to in his response to me 5 or 6 notes earlier. My WOW program probably needs the dop or dat file updated with today's date. I realized tonight that my Virtual files actually are updating. WOW just doesn't know it. I've been frustrated with this for the longest time. But, it sounds like Gary is right on top of it and has a fix in the pipeline... as usual.
