Ken, I got such a good guffaw out of your post, and I did answer it, but it must have gone on into endless babble which I erased. Well, let's leave it erased. Actually, there is a point that is interesting, so perhaps I should very quickly mention it. I did pray my head off, literally, for hours over a dying friend. He died. So this caused me much unhappiness and confusion and I was questioning God and myself and then God simply said: He didn't WANT to come back. That's all I know. I felt like He spoke to me about that matter, and it was very, very comforting. I seemed to also be assured that this precious person we all loved was precious enough that God also loved him, and that his vaguest steps toward God had been enough to get him home, especially during that quality time between life and death that so many have experienced and come back to talk about for years and years. That's all I know. That's what seemed to happen.
