<<P.S. Keep in mind that the reseller presentation on October 17th may influence the actual timing of the peak on this cycle. Perhaps the new PB coming out on Thursday will get this runup started.>>

What is this "reseller presentation?" Sounds interesting, but I've never heard of it.

One note about earnings. I'm getting the increasing sense from various articles that the REAL thing that analysts will be looking for in the conference call is not this quarter's earnings but what Apple has to say about the post-iMac future for AAPL. In other words, analysts are saying great, you have a wonderful product. *Now* what are you going to do? They need to see a longer term plan before they think about upgrading all those holds they still have on the stock, methinks.

Andrew

P.S.--Finally saw an AIO in person for the first time today. The University of Minnesota apparently purchased hoards of them. Bulldog is right, though. Cute in an ugly sort of way, but probably not the kind of style AAPL is going for with its new sleek image.

Presumably, something is going to happen around October 3rd. You're talking about a better than 20% runup between now and the 1st week in October. This may happen.
