Tippet, No, I have not held shorts in YHOO and AMZN since December, but have been in out and out many times, sometimes for profits but also sometimes with losses. My best profit was shorting AMZN at 134 and covering at 91 on the last big dip. My worst loss was covering KTEL much too early for a loss and then not being able to re-short. I am ahead for the year but have taken some ugly hits along the way and I am sure the long players have fared much better in 1998 so far.
