$15 = Wild A#$ Guess on my part and assumes RDRAM will be more expensive and that the dram market will firm. Also trying to be generous.

$1.5% royalty = estimate based upon Annual Report statements

Note- I read this directly from the 97 Annual Report-

"Royalty rates range up to 2.5% for RDRAM's and a maximum of approximately 5% for logic IC's, and in some cases may decline based upon passage of time or on the total volume of the Company's IC's shipped by a licensee."

30% net was estimate based upon Harmon's statement on 40 margins. I was not sure if he meant net or EBITDA.
