If he shorted it would have to be undeclared as securities regulations prohibit insiders from shorting their own stocks. many companies also have that same policy for all employess as well.

If you look at all the insiders they all have those same options show up the same day at the same price. If it had anything to do with selling or shorting it would be very coincidental that they all carried through that same action of selling or shorting on the same day. Besides those options show up under the acquired side of the report which would mean they would be acquiring the right to exercise those options. They won't show up again until they do exercise the option with the number 76 beside them.
