Thanks for the response on Gore, Dan. But I was not concerned about problems that a President Gore might have in getting his choice for V.P. confirmed.

My question was: would a President Gore also face the threat of impeachment? (Check the URLs in my post.) Or, if not impeachment, would he face long (and loud) investigations of his campaign financing misdeeds, etc.? If so, can we stand any more of this? And so forth and so on...
