Steve, Tellabs will survive. The question is, will it survive at an above market multiple. IMHO, not unless they get someone with Ciena's or Ascend's capabilities. The Cien deal was not a bad one. It was the price that was silly. TLAB may make a run at Ascend, not the other way around.
