Gary, Yes this acquisions strategy is the best way to grow your business I agree. We have a company in enterprise software with this same strategy (psft) and I think in the long run they will win with it over the grow-your-own approach of Sap and Oracle. The best people are always going to be off starting companies vs. working for an already large firm. However it should be said that the integration of multiple vendors into a core technology can be demanding, and you do need good people for that, presumably the integrators would need to be cisco employees.
