I guess I assumed that since he ran a fund he dealt in pretty large size. Also, he has said specifically, here and there what his trade sizes were, eg. 5-20K on AOL if I remember right, (this when AOL was around $110 which is not the same as 20K of Novell @ $10). Also, having worked for Goldman, Sachs, I would imagine he's seen a few things. He and a staffer recently interviewed Robert Rubin, (you know, THE Robert Rubin) for TSC. I guess the guy deals in pretty high circles vis the money biz. (BTW, what does the word "sleep" mean to you?)
