Ed,

You write: "I noticed the Chairman of Intel in a recent interview mentioned that they were in a QP when a specific question was asked about a specific deal, but he was ready to answer other questions not relating to the specific deal."

I agree this is the way QPs usually work. QPs are typically instituted to avoid effecting the stock price (positively or negatively) of the company (or companies) based on something not yet actually realized. As I posted in early August, large companies typically have so many different things going on on so many different fronts, they probably have QPs in effect about one thing or other most of the time. I don't think they ever use this as a reason to avoid answering questions from analysts or shareholders or the press about subjects not the focus of QPs. A question touching on the focus of a QP can be dealt with by a company with a simple "no comment" but they should be forthcoming about all other topics typically available to the public.

You further write: "I am trying to endure with composure waiting for info "sooner rather than later, more rather than less".

Aren't we all ... but I'm afraid my composure is rapidly waning. Right now, I'd be happy just to see some of our former bottoms, including our "Screaming Buy" price of 1-3/8 once again.
