Thanks for the url, Who. Now we can better understand the objectivity and credibility of your source, as opposed to that long analysis piece in the NYT, which commissioned the poll in the first place, and went out of its way to say the results weren't as favorable for Democrats as it looked like.

Run against Newt By Jay Severin MSNBC CONTRIBUTOR msnbc.com

... (closing credits)
Jay Severin is a veteran Republican campaign strategist and political analyst for MSNBC.

Compare and contrast:

Poll Finds Clinton Is on the Rebound Since Video Airing nytimes.com

So, an op-ed piece by a Republican campaign strategist, who apparently substitutes "impeach" for "begin impeachment hearings", and comes up with a truly curious 50% favoring impeachment figure, is to be trusted more than a news story not particularly favorably to Democrats in the New York Times. The 50% figure might hold for likely Republican voters, I couldn't say. Duh?, indeed.

Of course, I'm sure we'll be seeing many more "objective" poll interpretations like Mr. Severin's in the weeks and months ahead. I imagine more so after the elections than before, except for selected audiences.

Cheers, Dan.
