Jim, re. Nortel's employees heads. When the lay offs were announced a few weeks ago , heads turned because all the cuts were on the Nortel side not the Bay side . Their heads have now done a 360 ,now that it has become apparent, that the cuts were done because of a number ( ie. lower then expected sales growth ). The stock will bounce back but employee morale will take a lot longer to bounce back- in the long run ,that is what will really screw up this company ,IMO.

G'day all - dear James, thanks for the correction.

Regarding NT [NTL,] let's hope all the bad news are out. If this is the worst case scenario, with uncertainty out of the way, I am hopeful that the share price will be stabilized. Additionally, timingwise, maybe we luck out. With both the US and Canada cutting their respective rates, plus today is Yom Kuppur, maybe, just maybe, the demise of NT is greatly exaggerated.

best, Bosco
