Canadian Dollar Undefended This seems to be the most interesting tidbit today from Yahoo's currency page... "The Bank of Canada has abandoned its policy of intervening in the Canadian dollar when it exceeds a certain range against the U.S. dollar, dealers in London said. In a meeting last week, the central bank decided to abandon its policy of buying or selling Canadian dollars on moves of more than half of one percent from the close of trading in Canada to the following day's open, dealers said."
