To All, As has often been said by many here, the Investing New Pair of Dimes ain't worth four plugged nickels. -g-

Another shoe hit the floor proving the New Pair of Dimes to be sophistry. You know an important part of the scam: valuations don't matter because that 401-K money comes in every month like clockwork and funds have to buy stocks. Well, in August, equity funds had net withdrawals of $11.2 billion.

Has everyone decided not to retire? Has the 401-K been outlawed? Does the clockwork no longer work?

Or, did the herd buy during the bubble just because the market was going up and the retirement flapdoodle was the excuse UltraSuedo-intellectuals used to try to justify tulip mania behavior? This is a true or false question and false isn't the right answer. -g-
