<We all knew that Nuance was the GMGC STT engine, right?> Yes. Still, Nuance is a very cool company and a powerful partner. They do some of the biggest profile systems today: Schwab, Sears, American Airlines. The fact that Nuance does Schwab makes it so easy for Portico to add a stock portfolio. There is a specialized library of stock symbols and they have to be constantly updated. Nuance has lead the way with this product. Sure was a strange story that they weren't identifying the ASR straight off. Was an interesting mystery, but I think like you said, anybody who really followed the industry new they were working with Nuance. Anyway, it is certainly reassuring that they are using a quality company like this instead of some flightly little start up. Too bad Nuance is still a private company.
