KH,

>>COMS CEO is an ambassador to the capital markets. I am either unimpressed with his speaking, or is it he is holding back his messages.<<

Eric B. is a low key CEO who knows his stuff. He has a record
to prove it. He can see the the future of the sector better
than 99% of any network CEO.

He's is somewhat low key and not a flashy salesman, but he
does have a reputation as usually performing an "upbeat
analysts conference". So what, wasn't Andy Grove the same, and how about John Chambers. Results speak for themselves. Analysts
just want to see the bottom line anyway...they don't altogether
trust Eric B.'s talk.

When a CEO produces, he's a genius. When he doesn't, there must
be a big problem.

Eric B., even if he fell flat on his face and ended his career,
has a hall of fame background to prove it.

I would admit, his biggest problem is relating to WS. But, I notice
he and the company have gotten much better at it. The company
is much bigger now that last year, so there was some learning
curve associated with the merger.

The MAIN PROBLEM to watch out for, IMO, instead of who's doing
what...is, where's the network sector stand now that we are
getting signs of big telecoms having problems. Is this company
specific or sector wide problems.

I personally think the telecom and network sectors are doing well.
It's just that the best are being separated from the rest.
