This is pure greed. Sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry. What comes up, goes down, comes up, goes down.... If you really want to be in - you better have a lot of guts to deal with idiotic traders who really do not know what they're doing - and that includes a lot of Fund Managers, as well!

This has happened before...

OC, AMZN site has crashed a lot of times, AMZN itself acknowledges this as a risk in their SEC filings. I am short this stock like you, but embellishing small operating hazards is not going to get this stock to go down.

Besides, you have no clue as to the real reason AMZN crashed: a nuke plant in Seattle just went up in smoke because of y2k related embedded chip failure! <g>
