AMZN is holding up, unfortunately, but I don't believe it will continue to hold up..momentum is down. ... down.... NSCP, I'm not in a hurry for that one either. I'm coming to the conclusion we are going to have days down 200 and then up 200 and the thing to do is be wary of the stocks that get 'killed' and wait for them to uptrend on the 'good' days. Be a contrarian buying puts at pinnacle of rallies and buying calls at lows. That is still just a theory and I do not buy large positions of either puts or calls.

Tom, the AMZN puts are trading at 9 3/8 by 9 5/8.. what is your target. I got in at 7 1/2

Alert: FDO on the earnings plays watch list reports 10/1/98 before the open (called the company) please do your own DD Family Dollar FDO Prudential upgraded from Accumulate Strong Buy by Prudential on August 26 1998. This is NOT a recommendation to buy the stock, but an opinion based on past performance, fundamentals. This might be okay for AFTER earnings as well. Technicals: MACD is bullish.. volume indicators show FDO is under accumulation. Stochastics are oversold. Volume 130% more than 30 day average volume. Not a great day for an earnings play.. unfortunately. I will wait for a clearer general market trend to enter.
