Clark, You're welcome. Difficult to believe, today, how rapidly the long bond advanced. More trouble in the offing. Spreads & all. I'd be interested to know what you believe the chances are for a successful implementation of the European Union. Barring, of course, any extraordinary occurrences between now and then. Not an item for contention. I've just found it difficult to come by anything convincing. Not my ballywick, I'm afraid. And a bit embarassing. Studied LaFayette for a while. (He was an interesting fellow, to say the least.) But, that aside, afraid I've never been able to put it all together. Much easier to recall China's empirical boundaries than to remember which Holiness or Hapsburg was responsible for divvying-up this Europe.
