Actually, I think earning growth is much more important
for LU right now than sales growth. Don't forget that
Lucent's big restructuring is not done yet. Lucent is
still shedding off a lot of its low profit margin
businesses while transitioning into more profitable
ones. That's why earning growth or profit margin
would be very important. I think that a 10% revenue
growth would be sufficient for sales, while earning
growth shold be at a much higher level. Looking at
past performances, I think that this quarter should
look just as good as all the past quarters. If you
are long on Lucent, current price level is a good
entry point.
