Sorry Wannabe, I am a patent lawyer. To your points:
1) The patent research on Valence was done for a brokerage firm and was not part of any legal case. If you reread my posts you'll realize that your argument is groundless.
2) I testified that based on my expert interpretation of said patent, an infringement exists.
3) The settlement was for less than $1M for a $300+M company (hence the quick settlement) and the case WAS settled. Actually, if you do your research, you can probably figure out which case it was by the timeframe. If you have access to the right databases, you could even identify who I am. You profess legal expertise, identify me! I will acknowledge my identity if you can.
I understand why you feel a need to discredit my posts, but you will ultimately fail since I am telling the truth. Anyway, my research (for personal investment reasons), goes beyond just the patent issues in this industry. Here is a tidbit that you will never find in print:
MOT has their own facility to build LiPoly batteries for their phones. Unfortunately, it was a victim of their latest budget cuts and is up for sale. Who is going to sell them batteries? Let me just say that ULBI stockholders should not be holding their collective breath. You are definitely barking up the wrong tree my cyberfriend.
