O.T. Rajala -

Well well well. I'm surprised that nobody drags these people claiming this to court. If the 3G will be W-CDMA, second generation CDMA is not going to cut it. Its not compatible full stop. A very big disadvantage I would say. From official QCOM page? I must say I'm surprised.

Come on, you can do a better than that. I still am not going to sell you my shares despite your blatant lobbying efforts.

The problem with attacking the IPR issue is that astute investors have been following it for a long time. Obviously, an element of risk exists. But the boundaries of that risk seems to be understood by many in this forum.

Fundamentally, nothing has changed; except for a smoke-screen Ericsson PR campaign to create uncertainty for a Qualcomm "cave in".

Qualcomm is simply speaking softly and carrying one long bamboo stick.

If the CDMA operators feel their investments are at serious, imminent risk, they would make some noise. ...But why do so when Qualcomm is doing such a good job of mopping up after the victory?

By the way, you never answered my question about the outcome of the rogue IPR working group meetings. If you were trading this stock, I would expect that you would know the answer to at least part of that question. <gg>

Cheers,
Greg
