Crisis will breed winners, if the Aponal Deal comes thru this next two years, only the ones with opportunity ( ones meaning stocks) will survive the ebb and flow of any given market. A trading thing, that may benifit south of that border, in time. Liquidity is the defination of the market, a willing buyer and a willing seller, there is nothing more than that if you think about it. With that said, it is a question of price; thyen, now, and in the future. IF they can, then, they will, if they can't- they won't. Is now the time to buy or sell- THEY JUST IS NOT ENOUGH ...information:

Greetings Rob, Chuca and Everyone:

I have been wrong on this before, and maybe one day I'll get it right. The Canadian dollar (or loony, how appropriate) has been gaining strength very recently, if you take away today's dive. If the Fed will continue lowering short-term rates it should help the other currencies of the world, including Canada's. It may also help commodity prices slowly recover, which also helps the Cdn dollar. Also, I've been reading a trashy commodity letter which claims that a number of commodities are hitting cyclic bottoms this fall (some allegedly have already), and the expectation by a number of people conceivably could become a self-fulfilling prophecy, esp. with the US dollar weakening. Plus, with the Long Term Credit Bank, a huge US hedge fund, going completely under and threatening the stability of the entire financial system, there could be additional currency instability thrown into the mixture, the refuge there being precious metals, again helping Canada's economy and thus its currency. As currencies strengthen money tends to flow into their markets. Hopefully this will happen in time to save this company if no really good news is soon forthcoming. I'm hoping that there will be a rising tide that lifts all ships.

Harold
