Tomato: I just sent a PM to someone suggesting that this may be the reason for the delay. Michael told me that talks were still underway. When I asked about a possible closing date he just repeated that talks were underway (with that glint in his eyes). I began to think that maybe the relationship had taken a turn and not necessarily one for the worse.
I couldn't understand the reason for buying the company in the first place. As you said, "we get the milk, but we don't have to pay for the cow."
There are numerous small paging companies out there that do what IDB does. Their usefulness to FNTN is strictly as an add-on service. I don't see where IDB's relatively static technology has any additional use to FNTN or Siemens. In fact, it's not a simple fit between the two companies. FNTN would probably have to pick up the tab for additionally R&D to make the systems totally compatible. Let IDB pay for the R&D if they want FNTN as a client. This is good news - probably with less worthless dilution, too.
All my opinion of course.

<<Peep, this is some GREAT STUFF. We get the milk, but don't have to pay for the cow. No dilution of stock, or cash. I love this company.>>

Huh?!?!?!

Assuming that the acquisition of IDB was a good move (and we have to believe that since you all hyped the heck out of it two months ago), this release is nothing but negative.

The irrational bullishness on this board is sickening.
