I agree 1000%. It definitely helps to write stuff down.

My problem in explaining some of this is essentially I don't consider economics to be an important part of value investing. For me my pursuit of economic knowledge is mostly a matter of trying to understand what is happening. Really though, what is happening at any time doesn't effect my view of the values much. Plus, I am no expert on Austrian economics. I've read about a dozen books and read Grant's Interest Rate Observer. I think that qualifies me to express general ideas that run contrary to conventional wisdom. Not much more.
