BTW, elitism implies a position of power...something artists certainly don't have. But I agree with you... To blame someone for simple ignorance (in the true sense of the word) is as pointless as the ignorant off-handedly bashing that of which they are ignorant. (the Patton quote--it was a Monet) Ah, yes, the market...that which I feel ignorant of on a daily basis...whew, but do I ever appreciate it! ;-) B.
