RESEARCH ALERT - SG Cowen initiates Internet group NEW YORK, Sept 30 (Reuters) - SG Cowen's Scott Reamer initiated coverage on seven Internet stocks, a spokesman for the brokerage said on Wednesday. The analyst rated Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq:AMZN - news), America Online Inc. and Yahoo Inc. as ''strong buys.'' Reamer gave a ''buy'' rating to DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq:DCLK - news), Excite Inc. (Nasdaq:XCIT - news) and Sterling Commerce (NYSE:SE - news), the spokesman said. Netscape Communications Corp. was rated as ''neutral,'' he said. Joel, you are very right; this guy is sort of "unthinkable"! Sterling Commerce (SE) warned this moring, Stock droped 1/3!! today! He issued "buy" rating yesterday for a stock that "issued earning/revenue warnings" today!! Of course, all the I-stocks droped too!
