Not a question of producing inferior phones, JBC. It's a question of prioritizing. When most resources go to GSM and TDMA, of course CDMA takes the backseat. Which apparently has been a good business move - according to Carnegie Nokia's digital phone sales in USA are up 400% this year. From 1 million in 1997 to 5 million in 1998. So apparently the decision to focus on GSM and TDMA in America has made plenty of business sense.
