Interesting observations. Thanks, Don. I think there's something to this idea that people are pushing up some stocks in order to short them. There's still some selected buying, too, though.

Of course my long positions are down more than my short positions in general, but SWY has surged upwards. This isn't a good short candidate, so there must be some selected buying happening, still. People looking for bargains.

Does the TICK carry over to tommorow? In other words, does the Tick/Dow relationship at the close of trading today having any meaning at the opening tomorrow?

Up vol/Down volume on NYSE is ugly.

Don, did you notice that with the TICK at 800, the TRIN was over 3? Very aberrational.
