Jacob, Just the accumulation of the data which I have looked at going back to 1991 (BTB data, TA charts, Gottfrieds postings of Bollingers Bands as compared with 1995 and 1996 and Dorsey Wright's data) and the way AMAT is holding up, even today. I and others have posted most of the data for make our decisions.

I remember that a rising tide lifts all boats and those in them and with the market moving up the risk to me was to great to sit on the side. Just analyze the DW data I obtained earlier today and give me your thoughts?

I just could not see even if AMAT drops to $19.5 that I would not be obtain to great a risk since if would have to go to $5 for me to get a margin risk. I did not margin dollar for dollar giving myself sufficient room for a fall in price if it should occur.

It appears to me that buyers are jumping in buying amat around the $25 and $26 range. IMO,I see that amat may bounce off $23, what looks as a bull support line but not go much lower. If it does then it will drop into the teens.

I was glad to see the lowering of EPS expectations for AMAT. Now, all AMAT has to do is reach or exceed the low expectation to move up.

Did you see Gottfried's post comparing amat's price with EPS for 1995-1997? If not go to his profile and get a copy. It was very interesting.

Only time will tell if I am right.

Just my $.02.
