well from a non mining, non gold expert point of view.....

it appears to me this whole grab sample, inferred, proven, 3rd party verification etc etc is all a bunch of bs at this point. everyone that has been down there, especially guido and tt, know if its there or not, so does the whole bolivia beauracracy and the sec, bd, and anyone else involved or have been on site. everything else is crap. my opinion is that there is a whole lot of gold there, whether its exactly what guido said means zilch, and its now just a matter of who is going to get it. hopefully mine fights the good fight but they may get politicked out of the picture anyhow. im staying in, screw the sunny river ones, bunch of backstabbing pirates, theres a little chance mine will some day cut through all the tape. nice to vent. everyone have a nice day.

I agree that most uf us have lived off of Guido reputation, along with Dr. Hausen. I still feel that they would not have stuck there reputation on the line if large quantity (yet to be determinted) of gold was not present. Obvilsy time will tell on that point. Hopefully GE will get the funding so they can go back and do an extensive samping program over a much much smaller area and prove it up.

As for proving it up, I still would question the feasablity of a drilling program. I am not sure how the flights on the augers would deal with large clasts associated with the conglomerate. I think that it would be very hard to get any depth from an auger rig as well as collect discreet samples from a specific depth. I dont feel that RC would work either, because the drilling is not into hard rock I would think that the bit would get pinched as it migrated around clasts since the clasts are not cemented per say together. What are your feeling on this.

I thought the comments that Dr. Hausen discussed using a small open pit tecnique would be more representivie of the shallow phase of the pay zone. You still would have to question the tenor of the deep pay zone.

As for the grab samples being used for scoping out property, I would totally agree with that. Grab samples would be used after some remote sensing and geological evidence indicated the potential of a specific claim. A grid pattern would be used to horizontally delineate the precious, base and trace metals. We would then either wet chem, or fire the samples and use an AA finish for low detection limit. That would give you some indication that you should continue on with the investigation which most likely at some point was a drilling program. This was just for hard rock exploration though.

Glad to see you on again
