Moto drops PPC?

I've been hearing rumors on and off since last August (when Steve had his spat with the head of MOT), that Motorola was going drop PPC development.

Any thoughts on this possibility?

If it were to happen, any thoughts on consequences or work-arounds?

I can't wait for Alomex to clock in on his version of the tar bebby analysis.

I got the impression listening to CNBC that this sell down was deliberated by end of month issues as much as anything. After all, in today's fragile economy we can't have the market sitting high in the water when the retirement money tide rolls in. It might drown all those short positions out there.
