The darkest moments for a stock can (1) signal a buying opportunity for long-term investors with big brass balls, (2) provide a ten-year tax write-off for the recent sellers who already cut their own balls off by holding Ampex over the past few years, or (3) further torment those long-suffering zealots still holding and praying for a turn-around.

For what it's worth, I am one of those poor fools in the third category. I started buying at around $4, then doubled-down at around $2, and I recently tripled my share count for about $1. My average price is now $1.625.

I guess my hard head will force me to either (1) ultimately loose every penny invested in Ampex, (2) linger around in the land of penny stock purgatory for God knows how long, or (3) actually make money when somebody within Ampex finally delivers a profitable product/service that targets and finds a broad market of customers.

Regards,
Trenton.
