Judy-- if Dow bounces tomorrow, who'd you be looking as candidates to short or buy puts? i still think market has room to topple, particularly since October is rearing its ugly head. i don't see any strength in this market and i don't see any reason to be a bull in much of anything right now. having said that, market might rally briefly with Greenie speaking tomorrow afternoon. he's always a calming influence when he holds the market's hands, and in light of the response to his rate cut today, he probably sees a remarkable need for hand-holding right now. thanks for your thoughts. mike

Judy, it just beats me why he doesn't go short. I will certainly post his note for tonight later on. I usually get it around 6:30. I am VERY interested in selling naked calls. I was thinking about it for a while, then I read that article in Barrons a few weeks back. Today looed so weird. The M just went down so easily for a huge part of the day. By the way, Favors says we are going to 6709 intraday (plus or minus 200 points) before the end of OCtober. Then he sees a buyable rally. Finally Judy, what does a person like you do if you have retirement money in mutual funds? I have all my retirement money in funds (well, almost all) through my university. I got it all into cash at INDU 9150, and I trade it a lot, but just wondered what other folks do.
