Pete, not only did I not cover the evil tower, I'm going to short it more today if I can borrow the shares. I just read Bill's posts on this POS and me too can see several parallel stories where the stocks went from upper teens to $2. The reward is too great to pass up while the risk is miniscule. I'm not covering anytime soon.

Shorted INTV yesterday again. If it closes below $22, then its recent move is over. The mo-mo down will be just as good as its mo-mo up.

A potential short candidate - VSVR. I have watched this go up 30-40% in the last few weeks and now it has a PE as big as the evil tower. Chart is beginning to show a stall and a turnaround imminent. Videoconferencing business sounds futuristic but making money there is so difficult. I have followed PCTL from its heyday.

Gold - above $300 as of this morning. $ down again.

OSX stocks - the current oil price is artificially inflated because of the weather. No one is buying the oil above $16 story and OSX tanks. If oil stays near $17 through Nov, it will actually be a big disaster for OSX stocks as OPEC will have no "urgency" to further cut production as they have stated they want to see oil price at/near $17 when they meet in Nov. I see another W scenario and we are currently just reliving April-May 1998.

KRB - thin support at 28 1/2 and if it closes below $27 1/2, the next support is $24. Strong resistence at 31 1/2.

Shelia - you didn't marry your prof in school did you? I bet you went to Columbus.

Alski - bought the system I told you the other day. They had an offer to upgrade from 10 gig to 13 gig for free. Got the turtle beach sound card, 128k SDRAM, 4.8x DVD, 19" monitor but I opted for winmodem instead since this will probably be the first piece of part to be replaced in the future. One thing I don't like about DELL is that their sales-reps are commissioned people and I see used-car salesperson working there. Another dislike is the actual price of the system came up $80 higher than their advertised web price. I told them it is illegal to advertise one price and charge another. They told me to read the fine print where it says prices are subject to changes without notice. If not for GTW's store presense here, I may have gone to them instead. The tax saving was what pushed me over to DELL. They do promise a 30 day price adjustment upon invoice date if the difference is greater than $50. I am beginning to hate DELL. Still have time to cancel my order...
