Mr. StockMan,
Re--"---I have a really old version of Win 95, without any upgrades or anything, and I have just bought an AMD K6-2 300 chip. I find I am having problems, random crashes of Win95 etc. Will the patch for the 350 chip help me? Or should I invest in Windows 98?"

I thought that window crashes were only observed in 350MHz K2s. I suspect (in my opinion)OS-win-95 should at least get updated. The initial Win-95 is known to have problems.

Best regards,
sa

Sounds to me like this fellow better invest in a heat-sink. I suspect his problems are due to improper installation. K6-2 300 does not unmask Win95 timing loop problems.
