To all,

You may be interested in checking out ODP. They are near their 52 week low, way oversold, earnings due out soon, upgraded by 2 brokerages on Sept. 17 (down since then). Check them out on Yahoo. Lots of DD available. They should be good for a nice rise soon. Also, there are over 10 Million shorts as of Sept. 8 reporting on Yahoo. I'm liking them. Not a penny.

Stay in the Black! jimS

Zebraspot,

Why do you believe that Staples is "a funky, poorly staffed/stocked store." My impression is the opposite.

I agree that from a value standpoint, The Office Depot looks quite attractive. The fact that they will start selling IBM ThinkPads is wonderful.

Now, as far as downgrading goes, do a few analysts get together, then decided to dump on the entire sector?

I see this sector getting stronger.
