though i wouldnt have been correct in this particular scenerio
1. Dance Parade - Desormeaux
2. Advancing Star - Mccarron
3. Green Jewel - Delahousee

6 dollar exacta - yuck. i dont think i will ever hit a 6 dollar exacta but i guess that race was pretty obvious and i figured dance parade would have me ripping up my ticket.
on a brighter note, in ny we only have santa anita simulcast until the seventh race i found out cause thats like 7 o clock pm here and all the ny trotter tracks are getting under way so i guess i wont be able to bet the santa anita stakes races. the brighter note being that i couldnt bet so i didnt have to rip up my ticket, but i wish i could see the stakes races out there. should be a wide open jocks race now that nakatani has migrated to ny dont you think? though i know stevens tried to come here a couple years ago and got his ass handed to him and ended up back in cal. except now we have some cal barns stationed here plus his father in law dollase cant hurt. have a feeling nakatani will do quite well here.

the flower bowl, yes very good race but drew a small but select field this year.
handicapping nightmare and no value so i probably wont play it. theres no pace, no
speed, they may very well walk the first mile together almost like a sunday afternoon
stroll in the park, than have a mad stampede in the stretch, its a mile and a quarter but
it sets up much like a quarter horse race. everyone will start running the last two
furlongs. maybe i could go down there and load with them and i could run as fast as i
could for the first couple furlongs just to give them something to think about. actually i
say that but no doubt one of the trainers is thinking the same thing and is going to try to
gun his/her horse to the lead and go wire to wire, maxzene is one talented race horse
but they would have to tie rocket boosters to her feet to get her to run out of the gate,
yokohama and ba valentine also very talented but they are plodding plodders as well.
my guess is auntie mame, very talented and has the ability to show early foot, might just
try to open 10 lengths early and play come and get me. im not sure about the other
two, heavens command and bahr, probably overmatched but you can make a case for
anyone in a paceless race. ill go with auntie mame wire to wire. there is a couple
longshots earlier in the card im interested in though. in the seventh theres pebos pal and
shimmer me quick at 8 and 6 to 1 respectively, think both have a chance to do
something. and the bomber of the day goes to jifte in the 8th race at morning line 20 to
1 but should be substantially more than that at post time, she looks a bit out of her
league in stakes company but im not at all impressed with this field in general and at
least shes sharp, albeit at far lower levels. ill take a shot, see what happens.

three stakes on tap at belmont today.....

6 furlong housebuster looks wide open. trafalger is the class of the field, royal haven never throws a bad one, and say florida sandy is stepping up to the big leagues here but shows a definite liking for the belmont dirt. no idea what the odds board will say at post time in this race but ill box up those three in an exacta and triple.
7 furlong bertram bongard is a yawner, hearts at risk and david look obvious but the longest shot on the board, gander, might just have a chance to pick up the pieces. not much value, wont touch this one.
1 mile turf noble damsel is a nice competitive race and the only one worth a bet. 10 horses, all pretty even. favorite is sopran mariduff and shes definately beatable here. think oh nellie has a big shot today in this one and for bombers, gastonomical could close and pick up a share of the purse at 15 to 1 or better. tough field, anyones race. ill go with oh nellie.
